Meredith Marks (née Rosenberg; born December 15, 1971) is an American television personality, jewelry designer, and businesswoman. She is an original cast member of the Bravo reality television series The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, in which she has appeared since its premiere in 2020.[1] A Chicago native who built a career in jewelry design and fashion before entering reality television, Marks has used her platform on the series to expand her brand and business ventures. In addition to her television career, she operates a jewelry and fashion boutique on Main Street in Park City, Utah, and has become known for her advocacy work with LGBTQ organizations, including hosting events with GLAAD during the Sundance Film Festival.[2] In 2024, she was signed by Creative Artists Agency (CAA), one of the leading talent agencies in the entertainment industry.[3]
Early Life
Meredith Marks was born Meredith Rosenberg on December 15, 1971, in Chicago, Illinois.[1] She grew up in the Chicago area and has described herself as a native of the city in various interviews.[1] Details about her parents and childhood upbringing have remained relatively private, though her Chicago roots have been a recurring theme in her public persona and media appearances. Her family's connection to the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago was noted in local press coverage over the years.[4]
Marks has spoken publicly about growing up in the Midwest and how her Chicago background influenced her sensibility toward fashion and design. Prior to her move to Salt Lake City, Utah, she spent a significant portion of her adult life in the Chicago metropolitan area, where she raised her family and began developing her career in jewelry design and business.[1]
Education
Marks attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where she earned dual graduate degrees — a Juris Doctor (JD) from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Master of Management (MM) from the Kellogg School of Management.[5] The combination of a law degree with a business degree provided Marks with a professional foundation that she would later apply to her entrepreneurial ventures in the jewelry and fashion industries.[6] Her legal and business education has been referenced multiple times on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, where Marks has discussed using her training to navigate business decisions and personal matters, including the negotiation of a postnuptial agreement with her husband.[7]
Career
Jewelry Design and Fashion Business
Before entering television, Marks established herself as a jewelry designer with her own eponymous brand, Meredith Marks. Her jewelry line encompasses a range of fine jewelry and fashion accessories. In interviews, Marks has discussed the development of her brand and her approach to design, which draws on both her artistic sensibility and her business education from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.[8]
In a 2022 interview with Forbes, Marks discussed the intersection of her reality television career and her business ventures, noting that her appearance on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City had provided exposure for her jewelry brand.[8] She has spoken about how her business background informs her approach to the fashion industry and her strategies for brand growth.[8]
Marks has been featured in Vogue Australia, where her approach to fashion and jewelry design was profiled. The publication examined how she engages with the broader fashion world while maintaining her jewelry brand.[9] In an interview with Grazia, Marks further discussed her jewelry brand alongside her role on the reality series heading into its third season.[10]
Marks operates a retail boutique on Main Street in Park City, Utah, where she sells her jewelry collections and other fashion items. The boutique has served as a venue for events, including GLAAD's annual celebration during the Sundance Film Festival.[2] In addition to jewelry, Marks has expanded into other product categories, including a party game called Rümors & Nastiness, which she promoted in 2025.[11]
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City
Marks joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City as an original cast member when the series premiered on Bravo on November 11, 2020.[1][12] The series followed the lives of a group of women living in Salt Lake City and the surrounding Park City area, exploring their social dynamics, family lives, and business ventures against the backdrop of Utah's unique cultural landscape.
In discussing how she came to be cast on the series, Marks has provided details about the casting process and her decision to participate in a reality television program.[13] Her storylines on the show have encompassed a range of personal and professional topics, including her marriage to Seth Marks, her jewelry business, and her relationships with fellow cast members.
During the first season, a prominent storyline involved Marks and her husband Seth navigating marital difficulties, including a period of separation. The couple's relationship struggles and eventual reconciliation played out over multiple seasons of the series.[1] In later seasons, Marks discussed pushing for a postnuptial agreement with Seth, explaining in interviews that she was motivated by concern about the stability of their family unit.[7]
Marks has remained on the show as a full-time cast member through multiple seasons. In a 2023 interview with Today, she discussed her experience returning for the show's fourth season and reflected on her continued participation in the series.[14]
During Season 6, which aired in early 2026, a significant storyline centered on Marks's relationship with fellow cast member Heather Gay. The two, who had previously been close friends, experienced a public falling out. Gay was reported to be "mourning" the friendship, while tensions arose over allegations that Gay possessed photographs of Marks with someone she had previously dated, an incident referred to as the "Rolling Thunder" drama on the show.[15][16]
Marks also spoke publicly about her issues with the show's production during Season 6, explaining in an interview with Reality Tea her perspective on certain production-related concerns.[17]
In March 2026, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that the seventh season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City had resumed production after a brief pause related to the death of cast member Mary Cosby's son. Marks was among the cast members expected to continue filming.[18]
In addition to her appearances on the Salt Lake City franchise, Marks has made appearances on The Real Housewives of New York City, with Bravo providing context about the friendship connections that facilitated the crossover.[19]
Talent Representation and Expanded Ventures
In February 2024, Marks was signed by Creative Artists Agency (CAA), one of the largest and most prominent talent agencies in the entertainment industry. The signing signaled an expansion of her career beyond reality television and into broader entertainment, business, and brand opportunities.[3]
In March 2026, it was announced that Marks would perform at LadyLand 2026, a music and arts festival, alongside headliner Kim Petras and other artists including Romy of The xx. The announcement marked an entry into the music and performance festival space for Marks.[20]
Marks has also addressed aspects of her lifestyle on the show, including responding publicly to criticism about her choice to rent rather than own her home, explaining her reasoning in content published by Bravo.[21]
Personal Life
Marks is married to Seth Marks. The couple has three children together: Reid, Brooks, and Chloe.[22] Two of their children, Brooks and Chloe, have appeared on the Bravo series Next Gen NYC.[22] Their eldest son, Reid, was profiled in local Chicago media in 2013 in connection with his participation in the JCC Maccabi Games, where he competed as an athlete representing the Gold Coast area of Chicago.[4]
Marks and her husband Seth's marriage has been a subject of public discussion, particularly through the storylines on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. The couple experienced a well-publicized period of separation that was documented during the early seasons of the show, though they ultimately reconciled.[1] Marks later discussed her decision to pursue a postnuptial agreement with Seth, stating that she had been motivated by a fear that he might leave the family.[7]
The family relocated from the Chicago area to Salt Lake City, Utah, where they have resided during the period of the show's production. Marks maintains her retail boutique in Park City, Utah, in addition to her home base in the Salt Lake City area.[12]
Recognition
LGBTQ Advocacy
Marks has been recognized for her support of LGBTQ causes. She has hosted GLAAD, the media advocacy organization, at her Park City boutique during the annual Sundance Film Festival on multiple occasions. In 2026, GLAAD highlighted Marks's role in welcoming the organization back to her Main Street boutique for a celebration of the LGBTQ community during the festival.[2] A prior Sundance event hosted by Marks in collaboration with GLAAD was also documented, in which she celebrated the LGBTQ community at the film festival.[23]
Media Coverage
Marks has been profiled and featured in numerous publications, including Forbes, Vogue Australia, Grazia, People, USA Today, The Hollywood Reporter, Today, and the Chicago Tribune.[8][9][10][22][15][18][14][1] Her Forbes profile focused on her business acumen and entrepreneurial ventures beyond reality television, in a feature that also included fellow Real Housewives star Sutton Stracke.[8]
Her signing with CAA in 2024 was covered by Deadline Hollywood and represented recognition within the entertainment industry of her commercial and media potential beyond the Bravo franchise.[3]
