Eden Ovadia is a Canadian entrepreneur and the co-founder and CEO of FINNY AI, a financial technology company that builds an AI-powered prospecting platform for independent financial advisors. The company participated in Y Combinator's Summer 2024 batch and is based in New York City.[1]

Early life and education

Ovadia is originally from Montreal, Quebec. She attended McGill University, where she earned a degree in Software Engineering with a specialization in machine learning. During her time at McGill, she worked at EY and KPMG as a Cyber Security Advisory Associate.[2]

Career

After graduating from McGill, Ovadia joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in New York City, where she worked for over two years, primarily in the firm's technology, financial institutions, and private equity practices.[2]

In 2024, Ovadia co-founded FINNY AI alongside Victoria Toli and Theodore Janson. The company describes itself as "the OS for independent financial advisors" and focuses on addressing the problem of organic client growth in the wealth management industry. The platform uses machine learning to aggregate and analyze data points on prospective clients, score and rank prospects based on predicted likelihood of conversion for each individual advisor, and automate outreach and meeting scheduling. The system also tracks major life events — such as home purchases, job changes, inheritances, and retirements — to identify moments when prospects may be most receptive to engaging a financial advisor.[1][2]

FINNY AI participated in Y Combinator's Summer 2024 batch. In December 2025, the company raised a $17 million Series A funding round led by Venrock. In August 2025, FINNY added multi-channel automated outreach capabilities, including LinkedIn integration.

Ovadia was named to Wealth Management magazine's "Ten to Watch in 2025" list in December 2024. FINNY was also profiled by Forbes in January 2026, which identified all three co-founders.
