Tim Reinhart is a technology entrepreneur and co-founder of Dodo, a company that develops artificial intelligence-based employees for specialty clinics. Dodo was part of the Y Combinator Summer 2024 batch.[1]

Career

Prior to founding Dodo, Reinhart held several technical and research positions. In 2021–2022, he worked as a robotics engineer at Focusproject Geranos. In 2022, he served as a research engineer at the Singapore-ETH Centre. He subsequently worked as a computer vision intern at Scandit from 2022 to 2023. In 2023, he completed a financial consulting internship at VZ VermögensZentrum. In 2024, he was a graduate student researcher at the CHARM Lab at Stanford University School of Engineering.

Reinhart co-founded Dodo in 2024 alongside Julius Hillebrand and Dominik Moehrle. The company is based in the Stanford, California area. Dodo develops AI-powered employees designed specifically for specialty clinics, with an initial focus on veterinary practices. The company's AI systems are fine-tuned on industry-specific knowledge and trained on protocols taken directly from employee manuals and playbooks. Dodo's product is positioned as "labor-as-a-software," handling both front-office and back-office tasks for clinics. These tasks include answering phone calls, sending medical records, and refilling prescriptions — all performed autonomously without human intervention, enabling clinics to provide around-the-clock service.[2]

The company has partnered with multiple clinics and participated in Y Combinator's Summer 2024 cohort. As of its early stage, Dodo had approximately three employees.
