Tiffany Hendra (née Bolton; born August 21, 1971) is an American actress, television personality, and life coach from Channelview, Texas. She gained national recognition as a cast member on the Bravo reality-television series The Real Housewives of Dallas during its first season in 2016, where her personal faith, marriage to Australian musician Aaron Hendra, and candid discussions about her past drew significant attention. Before her reality-television career, Hendra worked as an actress in film and television, with credits spanning several decades. In more recent years, she has transitioned into lifestyle coaching and content creation through her brand Sanctuary of Style and The Coaching Sanctuary, based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. Her willingness to speak publicly about personal struggles, including a past drug problem, has been a notable aspect of her public persona.[1]
Early Life
Tiffany Hendra was born Tiffany Bolton on August 21, 1971, in Channelview, Texas, an unincorporated community located east of Houston in Harris County.[2] She grew up in the Greater Houston area. In interviews, Hendra has spoken about overcoming personal challenges from an early age and the experiences that shaped her later career choices and spiritual outlook.[3]
Hendra has described her path as one marked by significant personal transformation. She has spoken openly about a period of drug use in her past, which she later addressed publicly during her time on The Real Housewives of Dallas. In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, she discussed how her substance use affected her life and career, and how she ultimately moved past it.[1] Her willingness to discuss these experiences became a defining element of her public narrative, particularly when the topic surfaced during the first season of the reality series.
Career
Acting
Before entering reality television, Hendra pursued a career in acting. Under her maiden name Tiffany Bolton, she appeared in a number of film and television productions over the course of several years.[2] Her acting credits are documented on the Internet Movie Database, which lists roles across various genres.[4] While she did not achieve leading-role status in major studio productions, she maintained a working career in the entertainment industry and gained experience that would later serve her in reality television.
Her acting career was based in part in Los Angeles, where she and her husband Aaron Hendra were involved in the entertainment and music industries before eventually relocating to the Dallas–Fort Worth area in Texas.[5]
The Real Housewives of Dallas
Hendra rose to wider public prominence as a cast member on the first season of The Real Housewives of Dallas, which premiered on Bravo in April 2016. The series was part of the network's long-running Real Housewives franchise and focused on the social lives of women in Dallas, Texas. Hendra appeared as one of the principal cast members during the inaugural season.[6]
On the show, Hendra was notable for her faith-based perspective and her marriage to Aaron Hendra, an Australian musician. Aaron Hendra's music career was featured in the series' debut episode, where he performed for the cast, a moment that drew attention from viewers and media outlets.[7] D Magazine also covered Aaron Hendra's musical output in the context of the show, describing him as "the husband of Tiffany Hendra, one of The Real Housewives of Dallas."[8]
Throughout the season, Hendra was involved in several interpersonal conflicts with other cast members, most notably with LeeAnne Locken. In a blog post for Bravo's website following one episode, Hendra reflected on a heated street confrontation with Locken, writing that she was "shocked" by her own behavior and that she "never want[ed] to get to that level of crazy anger again."[6] In another blog entry, she discussed trying to navigate the cast dynamics, using the colloquial phrase "glad I'm wearing boots because the BS is deep" to characterize the drama surrounding various stories and rumors circulating among the group. In that post, she addressed a "pooping in the pants" story that had become a talking point on the show and explained her reasoning for relaying information about texts from cast member Marie Reyes to Locken.[9]
As the season neared its conclusion, Hendra wrote a blog post reflecting on her relationship with Locken, using the phrase "love the doer, not the deed" to summarize her approach to the conflicts that had arisen between them. She expressed gratitude to fans for following along with the season.[10]
During the airing of the first season, Hendra's past drug problem became a subject of media coverage. In May 2016, she gave an exclusive interview to Entertainment Tonight in which she discussed her history with substance use. She also addressed the topic on her Sanctuary of Style blog, where she indicated she would be appearing on Access Hollywood to discuss what she described as "my past for a purpose."[11][1] Hendra framed her willingness to discuss these experiences as part of a broader effort to help others who may be facing similar challenges.
Hendra did not return as a full-time cast member in subsequent seasons of The Real Housewives of Dallas.
Sanctuary of Style and The Coaching Sanctuary
Following her reality-television appearances, Hendra expanded her professional activities into lifestyle coaching and content creation. She founded Sanctuary of Style, a brand focused on fashion, lifestyle, and wellness content, and The Coaching Sanctuary, through which she offers life coaching services.[12]
In a 2020 interview with Voyage Dallas Magazine, Hendra was described as someone who works to help women "live their most authentic, healthy, purposeful" lives through her coaching and content platforms. At the time of the interview, she was based in Addison, a suburb within the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area.[12]
Hendra has continued to develop her coaching and media presence in the years since her reality-television career. In a 2022 interview with CanvasRebel Magazine, she discussed her personal journey and professional evolution.[3] A follow-up feature in the same publication in February 2024 described her as "brilliant and insightful" and included a wide-ranging conversation about her career and personal philosophy.[5]
Her work through these ventures reflects a shift from entertainment-focused endeavors to a career centered on personal development, faith, and women's empowerment. Hendra has maintained an active presence on social media, where she shares content related to her coaching work, fashion, and personal life.
Personal Life
Hendra is married to Aaron Hendra, an Australian musician. Aaron Hendra's official biography describes his background in the music industry, and his career has been a recurring element in Tiffany Hendra's public life, particularly during her time on The Real Housewives of Dallas.[13] The couple has been based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area.[12]
Hendra has spoken publicly about her Christian faith, which she has described as a central part of her identity and her approach to both personal relationships and professional work. Her faith was a notable aspect of her portrayal on The Real Housewives of Dallas, where she often referenced her spiritual beliefs in the context of the interpersonal conflicts depicted on the show.[10]
In her public discussions about her past, including the Entertainment Tonight interview regarding her history with drug use, Hendra has emphasized themes of personal redemption and transformation. She has described her willingness to share these experiences as motivated by a desire to connect with and support others who may be struggling with similar issues.[1][11]
Recognition
Hendra's primary claim to public recognition stems from her appearance on The Real Housewives of Dallas, which brought her to a national audience through the Bravo network. The series' first season generated coverage in outlets including D Magazine, Romper, and Entertainment Tonight, with Hendra frequently featured as a central figure in the media's coverage of the show.[8][7][1]
Beyond her reality-television work, Hendra has been featured in multiple regional and lifestyle media profiles. Voyage Dallas Magazine profiled her in 2020, focusing on her coaching and lifestyle brand work in the Dallas area.[12] CanvasRebel Magazine featured her twice — once in May 2022 and again in February 2024 — providing platforms for her to discuss her career trajectory, personal philosophy, and professional ventures.[3][5]
Her appearance on Access Hollywood in May 2016 to discuss her personal history also brought her story to a broad daytime-television audience, extending her visibility beyond the Bravo network's viewership.[11]
