Education and early career

Beg attended Dartmouth College, where he served as a Dartmouth Presidential Scholar. During his time at Dartmouth, he worked as Lead Developer at the Dartmouth Technical Consulting Group and conducted research at Dartmouth's Machine Learning Lab, focusing on transformer-based neural networks and speech-to-speech translation pipelines. He also worked at Dartmouth Health's Center of Precision Health and AI, where he was involved in machine learning deployment pipelines, and conducted cybersecurity research for the U.S. Government's ARPA-H project.[2]

Prior to founding Lopus AI, Beg founded Socale, a venture-backed startup that participated in UC Berkeley's SkyDeck Accelerator. He also served as Lead Developer consulting for YC-backed Onnix AI, where he built core context extraction systems and internal machine learning SDKs.[3]

Lopus AI

Beg co-founded Lopus AI in 2024 alongside Danylo Borodchuk. The company is based in San Francisco, California, and operates in the B2B analytics and AI space.[4]

Lopus AI addresses the problem of disconnected data across business tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Stripe, PostHog, and QuickBooks. The platform unifies structured and unstructured data into a single governed workspace. It uses an agentic semantic layer that understands company-specific definitions, joins data across marketing, CRM, billing, and product systems, and provides answers with lineage back to source data. The platform is aimed at founders, go-to-market teams, and product leaders who need to understand what drives pipeline and revenue.[5]

The company's investors include Team Ignite Ventures and Y Combinator. Beg is a member of the Forbes Business Council and has contributed articles to Forbes on topics including AI in back-office operations.[6]
