Andrew Garson is an American marketing and wellness executive with over two decades in public relations, brand marketing, and entrepreneurship.[1] He graduated from the University of Rhode Island and worked his way up through major communications firms before launching his own marketing consultancy and moving into consumer products.[2] Today he's the Managing Partner of Albany CT Creative, a New York marketing firm, and holds stakes in several consumer brands like Ahh Gave' Spirits and 4GuysBeverage.[3]

Early Life and Education

Garson went to the University of Rhode Island, studying before he kicked off his public relations career.[4] He started as an unpaid PR intern and climbed the ladder fast, making his mark in the brutal New York and Los Angeles media worlds.[5]

Career

Cohn & Wolfe (2006–2013)

In 2006, Garson joined Cohn & Wolfe (now BCW), a global communications agency, working as Vice President out of Los Angeles.[6] Over eight years he handled major publicity campaigns for entertainment clients, consumer brands, and corporations. His work there spanned earned media placements, crisis communications, and integrated marketing that blended traditional PR with digital and social media.[7] He got serious depth in entertainment communications, working with talent, studios, and brands in one of the world's toughest media markets.

WME (2014–2017)

Garson moved to WME (now part of Endeavor), a top talent and entertainment agency, in 2014 as Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing in New York.[8] He oversaw brand partnerships and marketing strategy where entertainment, sports, and consumer culture collide. His four years there put him at the heart of how talent representation and brand marketing were changing shape, building campaigns that tapped into the agency's roster of major entertainment, sports, and fashion clients.[9]

His time at WME also covered the agency's push into brand marketing and experiential activations, where he helped expand the company's skills and reach.[10]

Albany CT Creative (2018–Present)

Garson founded Albany CT Creative in November 2018 as a full-service marketing consultancy based in New York, where he's the Managing Partner.[11] The firm does marketing strategy, brand development, and communications work across industries. He built it to give clients big agency firepower but with the speed and personal touch of a smaller shop.[12]

Under his leadership, Albany CT Creative has broadened past traditional PR into comprehensive marketing strategy, digital work, and brand consulting for entertainment, consumer products, wellness, and other sectors.[13]

Wellness and Beverage Ventures

Starting in 2020, Garson moved into consumer products and wellness. He became a partner in Ahh Gave' Spirits, a New York spirits brand, mixing his marketing chops with hands-on work in beverages.[14]

He also partnered with 4GuysBeverage, which operates in the wellness beverage space.[15] That company connects to Orange Toucan, a consumer packaged goods brand selling wellness and natural ingredient beverages in Southern California.[16] His involvement shows a shift from agency-side work toward real brand building and entrepreneurship in the booming wellness sector.

Industry Recognition

PRWeek Magazine put Garson on their "40 Under 40" list in 2018, spotlighting his work in public relations and marketing.[17] They praised his "proven track record in growing business and launching successful practices in entertainment," recognizing what he's done across both agency and entrepreneurial sides.[18]

Personal Life

Garson lives in the New York metro area, running Albany CT Creative and managing his business portfolio.[19] He stays plugged into networks across marketing, entertainment, and consumer products.[20]

AI and Marketing Technology

Garson's been vocal about using AI coding tools to boost marketing analytics and execution, and he's been an early champion of integrating tools like Claude Code into marketing operations.[21] He's argued that AI-assisted coding tools are breaking the old dependency on engineering teams for marketing analytics infrastructure, letting marketing executives build custom dashboards, automated reporting, and competitive intelligence using natural language instead of traditional code. The shift matters. Garson's compared it to when programmatic advertising took off, saying that "for the first time, the person who understands the marketing problem can also build the technical solution."
