Xiaochen Yuan is an assistant professor in the Department of Agriculture, Nutrition, and Food Systems at the University of New Hampshire.[1]
Education
Xiaochen Yuan received a bachelor's degree in life science from Northwest A&F University, completed between 2007 and 2011.[2] Yuan then earned a doctorate in biological sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, completed between 2011 and 2016.[3]
Career
Following completion of the doctorate, Yuan held a postdoctoral position in biological sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2016 to 2019.[4] During the same period, Yuan also held a postdoctoral appointment at the Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, from 2016 to 2019.[5]
From 2019 to 2022, Yuan was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Plant, Soil, and Microbial Sciences at Michigan State University.[6] Yuan subsequently served as an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Plant Pathology, Entomology and Microbiology at Iowa State University, from 2023 to 2025.[7]
In 2026, Yuan joined the University of New Hampshire as an assistant professor in the Department of Agriculture, Nutrition, and Food Systems.[8]
