Travis Ueki is an American software engineer and entrepreneur. He is a co-founder of Doublezero, a platform for building, operating, and monetizing fully autonomous AI agents, which participated in Y Combinator's Summer 2024 batch.[1] Born and raised in Oahu, Hawaii, Ueki is based in Austin, Texas.
Career
Ueki's professional career has spanned several roles in the technology industry. He worked as a Full Stack Software Engineer at CLEAR in 2019. From 2019 to 2021, he served as a Senior Software Engineer at Tipe, a content management platform. He subsequently held a Senior Software Engineer position at Coinbase from 2021 to 2023, followed by a Senior Software Engineer role at Lazer Technologies from 2022 to 2024.
In 2024, Ueki co-founded Superfilter, an AI-driven email management assistant, alongside Albrey Brown and Scott Moss. Superfilter was designed to function as a personal executive assistant for users' inboxes, prioritizing emails, summarizing inbox activity, and handling tasks such as meeting coordination and document signing.
Ueki and Moss subsequently co-founded Doublezero, which was accepted into Y Combinator's Summer 2024 batch. Doublezero is a developer platform that provides tools for building, operating, and monetizing autonomous AI agents. The platform handles reasoning frameworks, state management, analytics, monetization, and provides a runner user interface. Users can interact with agents through a UI that supports play, pause, rewind, and human intervention capabilities. Doublezero also includes an integrated marketplace where developers can discover or share agents and tools.[2] At Doublezero, Ueki served as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer from 2024 to 2025.
