Siddhant Paliwal is an Indian-American software engineer and entrepreneur based in San Francisco, California. He is the co-founder and chief technology officer (CTO) of Bear, a technology company that provides a marketing stack designed for artificial intelligence agents. The company is backed by Y Combinator as part of its Fall 2025 batch.[1]
Early life and education
Paliwal grew up in Bengaluru, India. In 2018, as a high school student, he was among a group of Bengaluru schoolchildren selected by the 1M1B (One Million for One Billion) Future Leaders initiative to present social innovation projects at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.[2]
He later attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computational Mathematics and Economics.
Career
Before founding Bear, Paliwal worked as a software engineering intern at Intel. He also served as a software engineer at Third Chair, another Y Combinator-affiliated company.
Paliwal co-founded Bear alongside Janak Sunil. The company was founded during the spring quarter of 2025 and was accepted into Y Combinator's Fall 2025 (F25) batch.[3] Bear positions itself as a marketing and growth platform that helps companies generate revenue from AI agents, specifically by enabling businesses to appear in AI-powered search engines such as ChatGPT and Perplexity.[4]
The platform is used by marketing and growth teams across more than 60 enterprises. Notable clients listed on the Bear website include Peerspace, Medal, Wispr Flow, and Dabble. By September 2025, Paliwal described the company as "growing fast" and announced further developments ahead.[5]
In December 2025, Bear was included in a Digital Journal list of "10 AI companies defining the next wave of innovation."[6]
