Ramnique Singh is an entrepreneur and software engineer based in San Francisco, California. He is a co-founder of RowBoat Labs, an open-source AI-assisted agent builder that participated in Y Combinator's Summer 2024 batch.[1] He is also a co-founder of Brighterway, a venture focused on helping companies enhance customer experience using large language models.[2]
Career
Singh co-founded RowBoat Labs in 2024 alongside Arjun Maheswaran. The company develops an open-source, AI-assisted, no-code integrated development environment (IDE) for building production-ready multi-agent systems. The platform has been described as a "Cursor-like" tool for AI agents, allowing users to create functional agents starting from a simple text prompt using a built-in copilot feature.[1]
RowBoat Labs' platform is built on OpenAI's Agents SDK and provides several capabilities for agent development and deployment. Users can test agents in AI-simulated scenarios, connect MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and external tools, and interact with deployed agents through a Python SDK, a web widget, or a Twilio phone number. The platform also supports an iterative refinement workflow, allowing users to continuously improve their agents by providing feedback to the copilot.[3]
The company operates in the generative AI, B2B, open-source, and conversational AI sectors. It is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area. RowBoat Labs was accepted into Y Combinator's Summer 2024 (S24) cohort, one of 252 companies in that batch.
In addition to the agent builder platform, RowBoat Labs has developed a local-first personal productivity tool that functions as an "AI coworker with memory." This tool processes emails and meeting notes into a linked knowledge graph stored on the user's machine, emphasizing privacy and data portability. It supports multiple AI providers, including GPT, Claude, and Gemini, and can also run with fully local models. The application stores data in plain markdown format and is available as open-source software.[3]
Prior to RowBoat Labs, Singh co-founded Brighterway, where he worked on applying large language models to improve customer experience operations for companies.
