Known forNational criminal justice reform organizing; founder of We Are All Criminals

Louis L. Reed is an American criminal justice reform advocate and organiser who combines lived experience of the justice system with national policy work. He is the founder of We Are All Criminals, an organisation that uses storytelling to challenge the stigma attached to criminal records.[1]

Advocacy

Reed's work centres on the argument that a justice system should prioritise restoration over punishment, and on the power of narrative both in how people with criminal records are described and in how they describe themselves.[1]

Reed presented to the White Collar Support Group's Tuesday Night Speaker Series in April 2025.[1]
