Lev Glushkovskii is a Russian-American entrepreneur and co-founder of Terra, a platform that enables creators and brands to design, sample, and sell their own products with no upfront costs or minimum order requirements. Terra was part of Y Combinator's Summer 2024 batch.[1]

Early life and education

Glushkovskii immigrated to the United States from Russia in 2019. He enrolled in the Business, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (BTE) program at NYU Stern School of Business but dropped out to pursue entrepreneurship.[1]

Career

SabersPro

Prior to founding Terra, Glushkovskii co-founded SabersPro, a Long Island, New York-based company selling high-end replica lightsabers to Star Wars fans. He launched the company with his brother-in-law Sergey Kogan. SabersPro's products, made of aluminum with polycarbonate blades and integrated sound and light effects, ranged in price from approximately $90 to $661. The company was bootstrapped from launch to over $10 million in sales within two and a half years. During this period, Glushkovskii restructured the supply chain by working directly with factories, increasing margins by 15% and saving approximately $1 million in profits.

Terra

In 2024, Glushkovskii co-founded Terra alongside Dylan McFarland. The company, based in New York City, provides a platform that allows creators and small businesses to design custom products, order samples, and launch branded storefronts. Terra handles manufacturing, fulfillment, logistics, and customer support, while creators retain all profits above manufacturing cost. The platform operates on a made-to-order model, eliminating the need for upfront inventory investment or minimum order quantities.[2]

Terra was accepted into Y Combinator's Summer 2024 batch and has also received backing from Floodgate and KyberKnight. The company's YC group partner was Diana Hu. According to Terra's website, the platform serves creators with a combined following of over 15 million across social media.

In May 2025, Glushkovskii and McFarland appeared on the podcast People in THIS Moment, where they discussed Terra's founding and business model. At the time of the interview, both founders were 21 years old.
