Kim Gray
Kim Gray is an American educator and instructional coach based in North Carolina, known for her work in elementary education. She serves as an instructional coach at W.T. Lewis Elementary School, where she supports teachers and students in developing effective learning practices.
In recognition of her contributions to education, Gray was selected as one of 13 outstanding educators honored by the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching (NIET).[1] The NIET outstanding educator designation recognizes professionals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to instructional quality and student achievement. Being named among 13 honorees nationally reflects a high level of peer and institutional recognition within the field of K–12 education.
Prior to her role as instructional coach, Gray spent approximately 30 years in elementary education in North Carolina, including a period as an elementary school principal, according to local reporting. Her career spans multiple facets of school leadership and classroom support.
A separate individual of the same name, Kim Gray, is associated with Virginia Tech's Center for Economic and Community Engagement (CECE), where she has worked as an office assistant. According to a university spotlight feature, her path back to Blacksburg, Virginia led her to a role supporting community outreach and engagement efforts through the university.[2]
