Harvey Hu is a technology entrepreneur and software engineer who is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Altrina, a workflow automation platform that automates standard operating procedures (SOPs) for enterprises. The company, formerly known as General Agency/Tessa AI, was part of Y Combinator's Winter 2025 batch.[1]
Career
Prior to founding Altrina, Hu worked as a machine learning engineer at Google and TikTok, where he developed large-scale consumer recommendation algorithms. At these companies, his work on recommender systems contributed to increasing user engagement across global platforms.[2]
Hu co-founded Altrina alongside Mo Nasir, who serves as CEO. The company describes itself as "The SOP Automation Platform," building technology that automates repetitive business workflows so that employees can focus on higher-value tasks. Altrina's platform connects enterprise data sources and automates processes, with a focus on continuous performance improvement. The company operates in the fields of artificial intelligence, reinforcement learning, and automation.[3]
Altrina has served clients across several sectors, including local governments, law offices, insurance brokers, consulting firms, and hedge funds. The company offers a Google Chrome browser extension as part of its product suite, available for free through the Chrome Web Store.
