The platform is designed to help companies identify roles that can be filled by agentic AI tools, onboard those tools, monitor their performance and behavior after deployment, and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable regulations.[3]
TectoAI's core product provides centralized visibility into an organization's AI stack. Its features include an "AI Control Room," described as a centralized dashboard for monitoring all deployed AI tools and models; a discovery module for identifying AI tool usage across an organization; and an AI tool library. The platform monitors agent updates, new feature releases, and incidents both inside and outside a company. It also provides notifications for unauthorized agent actions, tool misuse, data exfiltration, and compounding errors.[4]
A key component of the platform is the "Tecto Detector," a data privacy tool that detects, redacts, and replaces Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Sensitive Personal Information (SPI) using pattern recognition and contextual inference. According to the company, this feature operates fully on-premises or on-device, meaning no data leaves the customer's environment.[5]
The company markets its services to legal teams and enterprise organizations operating in regulated sectors. TectoAI is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area and was part of Y Combinator's Summer 2025 cohort.[6]
