Brice Douglas is an American entrepreneur and the co-founder and chief executive officer of Zaymo, a software company that builds interactive email tools for ecommerce brands. Zaymo was part of Y Combinator's Winter 2024 batch.

Career

Douglas attended the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business. Prior to founding Zaymo, he worked as a Corporate Strategy Analyst at Weave, a communications platform company, and served as a Case Manager at Cougar Consulting Group, a student-run consulting organization at BYU. He has also served as a Founder Advisor at Sandbox, a startup community organization.

Douglas co-founded Zaymo to take advantage of changes in email client technology that made it possible to embed interactive, website-like experiences directly within emails. The company provides a no-code email builder that allows Shopify merchants and other ecommerce brands to create emails with interactive elements — such as in-email shopping, product upsells, review collection, SMS sign-ups, surveys, and quizzes — without requiring recipients to click through to external websites. The company's stated goal is to decrease friction and increase conversion rates for product marketing and customer data collection.

Zaymo gained early recognition while Douglas was still a student at BYU. In the spring of 2023, the company won more than $900,000 in combined prize money from various startup competitions, including $875,000 in total cash prizes. In February 2023, Zaymo was among three BYU teams selected as finalists in the Utah Entrepreneur Challenge hosted by the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute. In November 2024, Douglas was featured as a speaker at a Silicon Slopes event in Lehi, Utah, organized by Beehive Startups.
