Brad Kinsey is a professor of mechanical engineering at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. His research concerns metal forming processes, including electromagnetic forming, high-velocity impact welding, and closed-loop control of manufacturing processes.[1]

Education

Kinsey received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1992 and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University in 2001.[2]

Career

Kinsey is a member of the mechanical engineering faculty at the University of New Hampshire.[3]

Research

Kinsey's publications span topics in metal forming and joining, including electromagnetic forming, impact welding, electroplastic effects in metal deformation, and closed-loop control of forming processes.
