Arjun Lalwani is an American entrepreneur and former product manager who is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Ralo, a mortgage technology platform that automates the process of finding, comparing, and negotiating mortgage deals. Ralo was part of Y Combinator's Spring 2025 (X25) batch and has been featured in Forbes and Business Insider.[1][2]
Career
Before founding Ralo, Lalwani worked at Google and YouTube in product management roles. He joined Google as an Associate Product Manager I in 2020, was promoted to Associate Product Manager II in 2021, and then moved to YouTube as a Product Manager I in 2022. He was subsequently promoted to Product Manager II at YouTube, a position he held from 2023 to 2025.[3] In October 2023, Business Insider profiled Lalwani's compensation as a Google associate product manager.[4]
Lalwani founded Ralo in 2025. The company is based in San Francisco and operates in the fintech, artificial intelligence, and consumer technology sectors. Ralo's platform is designed to reduce costs and complexity in the mortgage process by eliminating intermediaries. The service automatically submits mortgage applications to multiple lenders on behalf of the borrower, analyzes the resulting quotes to identify unfavorable terms, leverages competing offers to negotiate lower rates, and then ranks the options with explanations of the underlying calculations. According to the company's website, Ralo users save an average of $75,000 and more than 20 hours during the mortgage process.[5]
Ralo was accepted into Y Combinator's inaugural Spring 2025 batch. The company was subsequently named among the most promising startups from that cohort by Forbes and Business Insider, both of which highlighted it as a notable AI-driven startup.[6][7]
Lalwani has also been active as an angel investor in various startups since 2025.[8]
