Adrienne Maloof (born September 4, 1961) is an American businesswoman, television personality, and shoe designer who serves as a co-owner of the Maloof Companies, a family-run business conglomerate with holdings spanning professional sports, casinos, entertainment production, and music. She comes from one of America's most prominent business families. Television audiences got to know her when she joined Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as an original cast member in 2010. Through the Maloof Companies, she's held ownership stakes in the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League, Maloof Productions, Maloof Music, and the Maloof Money Cup skateboarding competition.[1][2] Beyond business and television, she's also designed a line of shoes. Her father is George J. Maloof Sr., who built the family empire, and her mother is Colleen Maloof.
Early Life
Adrienne was born on September 4, 1961, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, into the Maloof family, a Lebanese-American family with deep business interests across the country. Her father, George J. Maloof Sr., transformed their holdings into a diversified conglomerate spanning professional sports, gaming, entertainment, and beverages. Her mother, Colleen Maloof, supported the family's business and philanthropic work.[3]
Growing up with her siblings, including brother George J. Maloof Jr., exposed her to business from a young age. The family's story started with a grocery and beer distribution business in New Mexico. They expanded it over decades into a multi-billion-dollar portfolio. This environment shaped everything about her career path.[3]
The Maloof name carried weight throughout Albuquerque and the southwestern United States. Their business foundation opened doors to ventures in Las Vegas and Sacramento, California. The family operated like a tight unit. Each sibling took on roles within the various Maloof Companies as they came of age.[2]
Education
Adrienne attended the University of New Mexico in her hometown, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.[4] After finishing her degree, she stepped into the family business. She worked alongside her siblings in various roles at the Maloof Companies.
Career
Maloof Companies
As a co-owner and executive, Adrienne has shaped the Maloof Companies over several decades. Starting with grocery and beverage distribution in New Mexico, the family expanded into professional sports franchises, casinos and resorts, entertainment production, and music.[3][2]
The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas became one of their flagship properties. It opened in 2001 and featured nightclubs, restaurants, a recording studio, and luxury rooms. The resort became a celebrity destination and a Strip landmark. Adrienne played an active management role alongside her brothers.[2]
For years, the Maloof family owned the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association. This put them at the center of professional sports ownership. They also held a stake in the Vegas Golden Knights, the NHL franchise based in Las Vegas.[3]
Maloof Productions handled their entertainment ventures, producing television content and media. Maloof Music covered their music industry interests. The Maloof Money Cup, a skateboarding competition, drew professional skateboarders and fans worldwide before it was retired.[2]
Across multiple business areas, Adrienne's been an active participant. She shaped strategy and managed holdings within the family empire.[5]
Shoe Design
She branched into fashion with a designer shoe line bearing her name. This gave her a personal brand separate from the family business. In 2011, she discussed her designs and the retail world based on her business experience.[6] Her footwear line took advantage of the visibility she'd gained from television.
Television Career
In 2010, Bravo announced her as an original cast member for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The show followed affluent women living in the California city. The Los Angeles Times noted in May 2010 that the show was "amping up the franchise with star power."[7] E! Online also confirmed her among the cast members for the new series.[8]
On screen, her storylines centered on family business, her marriage to Dr. Paul Nassif, and her social life among Beverly Hills elites. In September 2010, she appeared on CNN's Larry King Live to discuss the show and her role.[9]
She stayed as a main cast member through the first three seasons. That time included her divorce from Dr. Nassif, which played out both on screen and in the media. In 2013, she announced she was leaving, saying "it was time to exit."[10] She's remained connected to the franchise since then.
Her television work changed everything. She went from behind-the-scenes operator to recognizable public figure. The show also put a spotlight on the Maloof Companies and their deals.[1]
Personal Life
Adrienne was married to Dr. Paul Nassif, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon who became known for the show Botched. Their marriage and breakup became major storylines during her time on the series. In 2012, they separated.[11] The divorce got messy. Custody of their three sons was the central battle. By November 2012, TMZ reported they'd settled and reached a custody deal.[12]
All three sons were in college as of 2025. She described herself as an "empty nester."[13] One son, Christian Nassif, attends the University of Southern California. Both parents visited during a family weekend in November 2025.[14]
They've handled co-parenting well despite the split. In October 2025, they reunited with their blended families for a weekend trip. Maloof called it "a beautiful time."[15]
Her dating life drew media interest after the divorce. In January 2013, Us Magazine reported she was dating Sean Stewart, the 32-year-old son of rock musician Rod Stewart. She was 51 at the time.[16]
She's made her home in Beverly Hills. In December 2025, she shared photos of her holiday decorations with Bravo, calling it the "most magical transformation."[17] During her 2012 divorce, she listed a Beverly Hills mansion for sale, as Variety reported.[18]
In 2020, her uncle Phil Maloof died from coronavirus complications. Fox News covered the loss.[19]
Legal Matters
A former housekeeper at Maloof's leased Beverly Hills home filed suit in 2025. She claimed missed breaks and improper payment practices. Maloof contested the allegations. In November 2025, the woman dropped her lawsuit.[20][21]
Real Estate
During her marriage to Dr. Nassif, she lived in a large Beverly Hills estate that appeared frequently on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As divorce proceedings became public in 2012, the property went on the market. Variety reported on the listing, describing it as happening amid a "bitter divorce."[18] The home later sold to singer Christina Aguilera, as Variety reported in 2013.[22]
Recognition
Her public profile comes from two major sources. First, she's a businesswoman within the Maloof Companies. Second, she's a reality television personality. When Bravo cast her on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2010, media attention exploded. The show became one of the most-watched entries in the franchise. This gave her significant name recognition beyond business and sports circles where the Maloof family was already prominent.[7]
Her role in the Maloof Companies spans professional sports, gaming, entertainment, and music. She's one of the more prominent women in sports franchise ownership and casino management, traditionally male-dominated fields. The family's ownership of the Palms Casino Resort and professional sports franchises connected them to entertainment and business figures across industries.[3]
Her television work appears in the Internet Movie Database, which catalogs her Real Housewives appearances and related programs.[23]
As of 2025, she maintains a public presence through social media and occasional appearances. She shares updates about family life and business activities with followers of the franchise.[24]
