Zachariah “Zack” Churchill (given birth to Might 25, 1984) is a Canadian politician from Nova Scotia. He’s a current person in the Nova Scotia Home of Set up having offered since June 2010.

Early life and education

Churchill graduated from Saint Mary's School in 2007 using a Bachelor of Arts. He offered as National Movie director from the Canadian Alliance of Pupil Organizations from 2007 to 2009.

Political career

Churchill successfully ran for the nomination from the Nova Scotia Liberal Party in the traveling of Yarmouth in-may 2010. He gained the by-election kept on June 22, 2010 that was contested between six mainly high-profile applicants. Churchill garnered simply over half the favorite vote, defeating a previous MLA John Deveau, a previous 20-calendar year mayor of the city of Yarmouth Charles Crosby and two small party market leaders. He became the 1st Lebanese Canadian elected towards the Nova Scotia legislature.Churchill was re-elected in the 2013 general election. On Oct 22, 2013, Churchill was appointed towards the Professional Council of Nova Scotia as Minister of Organic Resources.On July 24, 2015, leading Stephen McNeil shuffled his cupboard, shifting Churchill to Minister of Municipal Affairs and Minister of Communications Nova Scotia.On June 15, 2017, Churchill was shuffled to Minister of Education and Early Years as a child Development.
