Biography

Yared Asmerom Tesfit (delivered 4 Feb 1980 in Asmara) can be an Eritrean long-distance runner who has specialized in the marathon races. He was created in Asmara.

In 2005 he completed ninth in the World About half Marathon Championships and 25th in the World Championships. In 2006 he competed in the Globe Road Operating Championships but didn't finish the competition. He finished 4th in the marathon in the 2007 Globe Championships. He also went in the half marathon in the 2007 All-Africa Video games that yr, but completed in fifteenth place.He made his Olympic debut in the 2008 Beijing Video games and was his country's best performer in the marathon, finishing in eighth place. He produced further looks in Eritrea's Globe Championships marathon squad, but didn't finish the length in both 2009 and 2011.On the highway operating circuit, he set an individual best time of 2:08:34 hours in the Lake Biwa Marathon and completed as runner-up. He came back compared to that event the next year and once again reached the podium, arriving third in a period of 2:10:49 hours. He improved his personal better to 2:07:27 hours in the Chuncheon International Marathon, where he was second behind Stanley Biwott.
