Rohit Sirosh is an American software executive and entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and CEO of Mimos, a startup that helps companies rank in AI-powered search engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI. Mimos was part of the Y Combinator Summer 2025 batch.[1]

Career

Prior to founding Mimos, Sirosh worked at Microsoft, where he served as a Software Engineer II contributing to Azure Storage. His work at Microsoft involved performance optimizations, scalable backend systems, CI/CD integration, and improvements to HTTP servers and TLS features.[2]

Sirosh co-founded Mimos in 2025 with Michael Korovkin. According to the company's Y Combinator profile, the two have collaborated on various technical projects since the sixth grade, a partnership spanning approximately 14 years. The company is based in New York.[3]

Mimos addresses the shift in how consumers discover information and businesses online. With hundreds of millions of people using AI assistants such as ChatGPT each week, search behavior has moved from traditional lists of web links to direct, cited answers generated by large language models. If a company is not cited in these AI-generated responses, it risks losing visibility to potential customers. Mimos provides an automated platform that identifies visibility gaps in AI search results, generates content aligned with a company's brand voice, and integrates with existing content management systems to deploy optimizations.[4]

The company's initial go-to-market focus has been on plaintiff law firms. For these clients, Mimos offers a combined system encompassing competitive intelligence across Google, Meta, and AI search; high-intent advertising on Google and ChatGPT; AI search optimization content; and automated intake triage that enriches and scores leads for law firm teams. The platform monitors competitor advertising spend and identifies gaps, deploys targeted ad campaigns, builds content designed to earn citations in AI search results, and routes qualified leads to the appropriate intake teams.[5]

Mimos is categorized in the artificial intelligence and software-as-a-service (SaaS) sectors. As of mid-2025, the company had two employees.
