Rajesh Narkar is an Indian entrepreneur and former fashion e-commerce executive who co-founded Confluxe, a technology-enabled platform that helps global fashion and lifestyle brands enter and scale in the Indian market. Prior to founding Confluxe, Narkar held senior roles at Myntra and AJIO, two of India's largest online fashion retailers.[1]

Career

Narkar worked as Chief Merchandising Officer at AJIO, the fashion e-commerce arm of Reliance Industries.[2] He also held an executive position at Myntra, another major Indian fashion e-commerce platform.[3]

In March 2026, Narkar and co-founder Louis Coucke, a former H&M India executive, launched Confluxe. The company positions itself as an omnichannel operating partner for international fashion and lifestyle brands seeking to establish or grow their presence in India. Its tagline is "Scale Meets Soul."[4] Confluxe operates as a licensed brand operations layer between global brands and the Indian consumer market, offering services that include market-entry strategy, digital commerce capabilities, data-driven merchandising, and a localised supply chain.

The company's operating model combines direct-to-consumer channels and marketplace presence as a primary engine for testing and scaling, with an integrated omnichannel approach that coordinates digital and physical retail. Technology, data, and artificial intelligence form the core infrastructure of the platform.[5]

Confluxe raised US$1.6 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Wavemaker Partners, with participation from Kriscore Capital. The company stated that the capital would be used to launch its first brand partnerships, build technology and data infrastructure, and expand its team across brand operations, commerce, and growth functions.[6]

The startup is based in Bengaluru, India, and targets what it describes as a structural gap in India's fashion ecosystem — where rising consumer demand for international brands contrasts with the complexity and capital intensity of market entry. According to Confluxe, India's fashion and lifestyle market is valued at over US$130 billion as of 2025, with projected growth of 8–10 percent annually through 2030.[7]
