Vito Badalamenti


Vito Badalamenti (Cinisi, Apr 29, 1957) is an associate from the Sicilian Mafia. He’s around the “many wanted list” from the Italian ministry of the inside since 1995.

Mafia heritage

Vito Badalamenti was created in Cinisi, Sicily. He's the eldest kid of Mafia employer Gaetano Badalamenti, one-time employer from the Sicilian Mafia Fee and a notorious heroin trafficker who was simply the principal accused in the Pizza Connection Trial in the middle-1980s in NY.In 1981, in the beginning of the Second Mafia War, Vito followed his father in voluntary exile following Badalamenti was expelled from Cosa Nostra with the rival faction from the Corleonesi going by Totò Riina. They transferred to Brazil and afterwards to Spain.

Pizza Connection

Vito Badalamenti was mixed up in heroin trafficking actions of his dad, referred to as the Pizza Connection. After intensive monitoring, the Spanish law enforcement caught Vito and Gaetano Badalamenti in Madrid on Apr 8, 1984, capping a four-year undercover analysis by Italian and US police firms on both edges from the Atlantic. The arrest tripped some raids from the Federal government Bureau of Analysis through the entire United States.Both were extradited to america on November 15, 1984. These were struggling to post multimillion-dollar bails and continued to be in jail through the entire trial. On June 22, 1987, Vito was the only person acquitted in the Pizza Connection Trial, while his dad was sentenced to 45 years in jail. In Italy, Vito Badalamenti received a six-year phrase in the Maxi Trial.


Vito Badalamenti was a fugitive since 1995. In 2000, the Italian law enforcement issued a global arrest warrant. He's alleged to become either in Australia or Brazil. He hasn't lost his connections with Sicily, Mafia manager Salvatore Lo Piccolo was in touch with Badalamenti before Lo Piccolo was caught in November 2007.
