V. Anamika is definitely a Contemporary Designer created in Neelankarai, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, students of Shri. S. Dhanapal, an eminent designer of India. She received her master’s level in Good Arts (Painting and Printing Producing) in 1999 from Authorities College of Good Arts, Chennai. To improve her specialized skill she undertook a program on Treatment of museum items at Authorities Museum in 2005. In 2006, she visited Scotland like a going to artist scholar to understand Japanese wood-block printing at Edinburgh printmaker’s studio room.
She actually is a receiver of The 55th Country wide exhibition of art Lalit Kala Akademi Prize (2014)., Audi Ritz icon Prize,Chennai.(2011),Charles Wallace India Trust Prize (2010–11). She gained a Visiting scholarship or grant to the united kingdom to understand Enameling artwork at University from the Western of England. She's also received a Going to Artist Honor for printmaking residency(1997) at Edinburgh printmakers studio room. Aside from these worldwide accolades she's received many Country wide and Condition recognitions like 6th All India Good Arts Exhibition (1995), Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath - Karnataka, Lalit Kala Akademi Scholarship or grant for Young Designer(2001)., All India Good Arts and Crafts Culture Collaborating with Lalit Kala Akademi (1997)., Regional Artwork Exhibition Chitra Kala Samsed (1996), Machilapatnam, Andhra Pradesh., Arrikamedu Artwork Academy 4th South Area Level Artwork Exhibition Committee, Pondicherry(1996) as well as the Ovia Nunkalai Kuzhu Honor (1995, 1997, 1998).
She started her teaching profession being a lecturer of Artwork for five years for Teacher trainees on the Cathedral Park Teachers Schooling Institute, Chennai, in 2000-2005. She's been invited being a Going to faculty at University of Great Arts, Chennai and Kumbakonam, to instruct the Arts Administration Training course, Dakshinchitra, Chennai.
