Shaukat Ali, also called Shaukat Ali Khan, is a folk singer from Pakistan.
Early life and career
Born right into a family of performers in Malakwal, Punjab, Pakistan, Shaukat Ali started singing even though at university in the 1960s, getting help from his elder sibling Inayat Ali Khan. He was released in to the Pakistani film globe being a playback vocalist with the renowned film music movie director M Ashraf in the Punjabi film Tees Maar Khan (1963).Since 1970, he has performed ghazals and Punjabi folk tracks.Shaukat Ali received the Tone of voice of Punjab award in 1976. In June 2013, he was honored using the Satisfaction of Punjab prize with the Pakistan Institute of Vocabulary, Art and Lifestyle (PILAC). He provided a live show on the 1982 Asian Video games in New Delhi, and was honored the best Pakistani civilian Presidential award Satisfaction of Efficiency in 1990. His tune "Kadi Te Hass Bol Vey" was found in this year's 2009 Indian film Like Aaj Kal. He also released a monitor titled "Jagga".He is the daddy of Pakistani vocalist Imran Shaukat Ali.
