Seymour Chwast (given birth to August 18, 1931) can be an American graphic developer, illustrator, and type developer. Chwast was created in Bronx, NY, and graduated having a Bachelor of Good Arts from Cooper Union in 1951. With Milton Glaser, Edward Sorel, and Reynold Ruffins, he founded Drive Pin Studios in 1954. The bi-monthly publication The Drive Pin Image was something of their cooperation.Chwast is well-known for his business artwork, which include posters, food product packaging, magazine addresses, and publicity artwork. Also known as “the left-handed developer,” Chwast’s exclusive graphical design melded interpersonal commentary and a unique design of illustration. Today, he is constantly on the work and it is principal on the Pushpin Group, Inc. in NEW YORK. In 1979, he was employed by McDonald’s to create on the initial box because of their Happy Meals. He’s the font developer of Chwast Buffalo, Fofucha, Loose Caboose NF, and Weedy Beasties NF. He’s an associate of Alliance Graphique International (AGI). Chwast wedded developer Paula Scher in 1973 and divorced five years afterwards. They remarried in 1989.
