Biography

Ronald S. “Ron” Altbach is usually a pianist and songwriter who co-founded French-American rock-band Ruler Harvest and performed the Wurlitzer electrical piano intro on the single “Dance in the Moonlight” (1973). He later on became a program keyboardist for the Seaside Males and penned tunes for the group. Altbach was also an associate of Celebration, an organization led by Seaside Males co-founder Mike Like, mainly made up of Beach Males touring musicians. Altbach’s contributions towards the Seaside Males include co-producing M.We.U. Recording (1978) and co-writing tunes such as for example “Belles of Paris”, “She’s Got Tempo”, and “Only on Christmas Day time”.
