Biography
Rogelio Cabrera López (given birth to 24 January 1951) may be the current archbishop of Monterrey since his visit was announced on 3 Oct 2012. He previously previously offered as archbishop of Tuxtla Gutierrez. He was created in Santa Catarina, Guanajuato in the diocese of Querétaro. He analyzed humanities, viewpoint and theology in the Seminary of Querétaro. He finished his research in Rome in the Pontifical Gregorian University or college as well as the Pontifical Biblical Institute, finding a Licentiates in Theology aswell as Sacred Scripture. He was ordained a priest on 17 November 1978 from the nuncio to Mexico. Appointed bishop from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tacámbaro about 30 April 1996 by Pope John Paul II, he was consecrated about 30 May 1996. On 16 July 2001, he was moved by John Paul II towards the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tapachula. On 11 Sept 2004, he was appointed to serve mainly because bishop from the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Tuxtla Gutiérrez. On 25 November 2006, following a establishment from the Ecclesiastical Province of Chiapas, and with the elevation from the Diocese of Tuxtla Gutierrez for an Archdiocese, he became the 1st Archbishop. In ’09 2009 he was elected vice-president from the Mexican Bishops’ Meeting.
