Roberto Castillo Sandoval (given birth to November 14, 1957) is a Chilean writer and teacher of Latin American research and comparative books at Haverford University in Haverford, Pa. He has published scholarly essays on Latin American colonial and modern literature, brief fiction, and poetry, aswell while travel chronicles and literary and opinion columns for Chilean printing and internet media. His book Muriendo por la dulce patria mía (Planeta, 1998) was predicated on the life span of Chilean heavyweight boxer Arturo Godoy.
