Robert “Mwafrika” Kipkoech Cheruiyot (given birth to Sept 26, 1978 in Kapsabet, Kenya), sometimes referred to as Omar Ahmed, is a Kenyan marathon runner and may be the previous record holder and four-time champion from the Boston Marathon.

Early career
