Biography

Riley Armstrong (given birth to November 8, 1984) is certainly a retired Canadian professional ice hockey forwards, currently an associate coach using the Wheeling Nailers from the ECHL. He previously performed two games using the San Jose Sharks through the 2008–09 period. Armstrong was created in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, but was raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Playing career

Amateur

Riley attended Sacred Center SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Yorkton Sask for grade 11 and 12 while performing AAA Midget and in addition St. Joseph SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Saskatoon together with his sibling Colby Armstrong, who also performed in the Country wide Hockey League.After playing minor hockey using the Saskatoon Redwings and number skating out of Martensville and Saskatoon Number Skating Golf club (coached by his mom Rosemary Armstrong), Riley remaining to try out Midget AAA using the Yorkton Mallers where he scored 44 goals and 77 Factors in 40 games and came 3rd in group scoring. Armstrong started playing for the Kootenay Snow of the Traditional western Hockey Little league (WHL) in the 2002–03 time of year, rating 6 goals. Professional

Before the 2015–16 period, Armstrong was positioned on waivers through the Grizzlies and was stated with the Reading Royals on Oct 11, 2015.

Coaching career

Armstrong finished his playing career in 2016, opting to pursue a profession in coaching. On August 31, 2016, he was announced as the brand new assistant trainer for the Wheeling Nailers from the ECHL under mind trainer Jeff Christian.
