Biography

Richard John Bartel (given birth to Feb 3, 1983) is a previous American football quarterback in the Country wide Football Group for the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns, Jacksonville Jaguars, Washington Redskins and Az Cardinals. He performed college soccer at Tarleton Condition. He also performed football in the Cincinnati Reds minimal league organization.

Early years

Bartel attended Grapevine SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Grapevine, Tx and was a letterman in soccer and football. In soccer, he was called the Region Offensive Participant of the entire year, was an All-Region selection, and called as an All-State selection. Richard Bartel graduated from Grapevine SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in 2001. Richard can be wedded to Alecia Bartel and provides two daughters, Remy.

Baseball career

Bartel was drafted being a pitcher with the Cincinnati Reds in the 14th circular from the 2001 Major Group Football Draft. He pitched for the Gulf Coastline Group Reds in 2001, 2002, and 2003

College career

Bartel attended and played for Southern Methodist University or college in 2003 after that used in Tarleton State University or college for his last two months of collegiate soccer where he completed 161-of-276 goes by for 2,033 back yards with 16 TDs and five interceptions.

Professional career

Dallas Cowboys

Bartel was signed following an request to take part in the Dallas Cowboys' mini-camp following the 2007 NFL Draft. On Sept 1, he was waived and afterwards agreed upon to the practice squad, after first year quarterback Matt Moore was stated with the Carolina Panthers.On August 30, 2008, he premiered and afterwards signed to the practice squad, and then be trim on Sept 8.

Cleveland Browns

Bartel was signed to the practice squad from the Cleveland Browns on November 26, 2008 after quarterback Brady Quinn was positioned on the injured reserve list. Bartel was triggered through the practice squad on Dec 24, 2008, when Ken Dorsey was positioned on wounded reserve. Bartel was waived from the Browns on Sept 5, 2009.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Bartel was signed to the Jacksonville Jaguars' practice squad on Sept 7, 2009.

Washington Redskins

Bartel was signed with the Washington Redskins in the Jaguars practice squad on November 25, 2009. Another year, head trainer Jim Zorn was changed with Mike Shanahan. He was trim on Sept 4, 2010.

Sacramento Mountain Lions

Bartel was signed from the Sacramento Hill Lions from the United Football Little league on Sept 14, 2010.

Arizona Cardinals

On Dec 7, 2010, Bartel was signed from the Az Cardinals after Maximum Hall was positioned on the injured reserve list. He performed in his 1st regular time of year NFL video game on January 2, 2011, against the sponsor SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA 49ers. Throughout that video game, he finished his 1st regular season move, a 31-backyard conclusion to Larry Fitzgerald past due in the 3rd quarter, in alleviation of beginning quarterback John Skelton. He performed against the 49ers once more, changing Skelton, on November 20, 2011, while tossing his 1st touchdown move to Larry Fitzgerald. He was waived with a personal injury arrangement on Sept 3, 2012, because of a shoulder damage.

Personal life

On January 29, 2015, after stints at Plano Prestonwood and Argyle Liberty Christian College, he was hired as the soccer head trainer for Southwest Christian SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Fort Well worth. In June 2015, he remaining to be the football unpleasant planner at IMG Academy.
