Milan Chvála (1936, Prague – ) is a Czech entomologist who specialises in Diptera. He is most widely known for his focus on the Empidoidea. He graduated in the Faculty of Technology from the Charles University or college in Prague in 1960. Since 1991 he’s vise dean from the Faculty of Technology from the Charles University or college. He was produced a Fellow from the Royal Entomological Culture in 1991. His personal selections of Empidoidea are actually in the Wish Entomological Collections in the University or college of Oxford.
