Kaj Chydenius

Kaj Chydenius (given birth to 16 Oct 1939 in Kuusankoski) is a Finnish composer probably most widely known for his left-wing political music interpreted by several artists. He examined on the Sibelius Academy, the School of Helsinki as well as the Helsinki College of Economics, beginning his profession with avant-garde music, taking place, instrumental theatre, as well as the looks of John Cage. A number of the best-known functions by Chydenius are Lapualaisooppera (1966) and such music as ‘Sinua, sinua rakastan’, ‘Nuoruustango’ as well as the children’s melody ‘Magdaleena’, which are evergreens in Finland. Kaj Chydenius was among the founding associates of KOM-teatteri in 1971, as well as Kaisa Korhonen who was simply his wife after that. The younger kid of Kaj Chydenius, Jussi Chydenius is normally a member from the vocal ensemble Rajaton. Many functions by Chydenius are released on Appreciate Records.
