Julia Biel


Julia Biel is a Uk singer, songwriter and musician. Julia Biel won the name Perrier Vocalist of the entire year in 2000. In 2002 she was asked to become listed on the F-IRE Collective, and her initial music group including Sebastian Rochford on whose Polar Keep project she’s also highlighted, drew generally from its rates. In 2005 she released her self-produced debut record NOT BY YOURSELF (2005) which highlighted music co-written with guitarist Jonny Phillips. In 2006 she was nominated in the ‘Increasing Star’ group of the BBC Jazz Honours. Her second album, Like Letters and Various other Missiles, premiered internationally in 2015 following the prior year’s EP No one Loves YOU PREFER I REALLY DO. These releases highlighted self-penned materials and were made by Idris Rahman and Julia Biel. She performs associated herself on piano or guitar with support from bass and drums and travels extensively in the united kingdom and overseas. She was nominated in the very best Jazz Action category in the MOBO Honours as well as the Urban Music Honours in 2015. Previously the singer in ‘Unity’, she found the interest of Everything HOWEVER THE Girl producer Ben Watt who released their EP Love in the Dead of Night about his Buzzin Fly label (2004). Subsequently, Watt asked Biel to collaborate on additional material, an individual of his “Guinea Pig” (2008) and in addition “Bright Celebrity” (2010), a three method cooperation between Watt, Biel and German maker Stimming.
