‹ The template Infobox person has been considered for merging. › Joshua (Shuky) Borkovsky (Hebrew: יהושע (שוקי) בורקובסקי; b. 19 January 1952 in Rishon LeZion) can be an award-winning Israeli designer who lives and functions in Jerusalem.
Joshua (Shuky) Borkovsky was created in 1952. In 1973–1977, he examined on the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Style in Jerusalem. He started teaching on the Artwork Teachers University in Ramat Hasharon in 1978. From 1979, he became a member of the faculty of Bezalel. He in addition has taught workshops on the Hebrew School of Jerusalem. In 1980/81, he went to Hunter University in NY for his MFA level.Borkovsky's function features phantasmagoric imagery like the silhouettes of sailing boats, and cartographic and geometric pictures.Borkovsky's exhibition on the Israel Museum in 2013, "Veronese Green," featured 58 functions from 10 cycles of paintings created in 1987– 2012. Borkovsky creates open-ended cycles, with one painting differing somewhat from another. The cyclical character of these functions creates a feeling of time position still. Lots of the paintings evoke the picture of photographs getting developed within a darkroom.
