Joshua Kane Betts (given birth to August 25, 1982) is a ex – American soccer quarterback. He performed college soccer for the Miami RedHawks and was agreed upon with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free of charge agent in 2006. Betts in addition has been an associate from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Betts was the successor in Miami College or university to first-round go with Ben Roethlisberger from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Betts signed using the Indianapolis Colts in-may 2006 but was waived and place onto the practice squad for just one calendar year. He was agreed upon again as a free of charge agent towards the Colts in Feb 2007.Betts surely got to play in the 4th one fourth in the initial 2007 NFL pre-season video game against the Dallas Cowboys. He performed in two drives where he threw 9 for 14 for 77 back yards with one touchdown and one interception.In his second pre-season game against the Chicago Bears, Josh Betts performed again in the 4th quarter where he struggled in his initial few drives, throwing two interceptions while under great pressure, with one of these being in the Chicago red zone. He could redeem himself using a touchdown in his last get using a touchdown move to Craphonso Thorpe.Within the last pre-season game against the Cincinnati Bengals he threw 12 for 21 for 154 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The overall game ended using a reduction to Indianapolis when Jonny Harline captured Betts' desperation move on the 1-yard series and was tackled as period ran out.On July 24, 2008, Betts was waived following signings of Quinn Grey and Jared Lorenzen. He was re-signed towards the Colts' practice squad on Sept 3 and premiered again on Sept 18. He was re-signed on Sept 23 and then be released the next day when the group agreed upon quarterback David Greene with their practice squad.
