Jordan Canning


Jordan Canning is a Canadian film movie director and writer. She’s directed over twelve short films that have screened with festivals all around the globe like the Toronto International Film Event, the Tribeca Film Event and Interfilm Berlin.

Early life

Canning was created in St. John's, Newfoundland.


Canning worked on the St. John's International Women's Event and published film critiques for local papers. She also worked well like a Film Analyst, categorizing movies for Netflix.Canning's films possess won several honours, including two Golden Sheaf Honours, three awards in the NSI Online Brief Film Event, and top reward in the 2012 Toronto International Film Event RBC Emerging Filmmaker Competition. She aimed all twenty-three shows from the IPF-supported internet series Space Riders: Department Globe for CTV. The display received the 2014 Canadian Display Award for Greatest Digital Series and four Canadian Comedy Honours, including Best Movie director.Canning's 2014 feature film We Were Wolves screened in the Toronto Film Event and is written by Unobstructed View.In 2015, Canning was awarded the ladies In the Director's Seat Feature Film Award on her behalf second feature film, Suck It Up (2017), which premiered on the 2017 Slamdance Film Festival.In 2016, Canning produced her foray into television, directing on Keeping Hope which Hour Offers 22 A few minutes, where she became the initial feminine director on the present. In 2017 she aimed nine shows of television over the series The Details, Burden of Truth and Baroness Von Sketch ShowCanning is a 2010 graduate from the Movie director’s Lab on the Canadian Film Center and an alumnus of TIFF Talent Laboratory, TIFF Pitch This!, as well as the WIDC Tale and Leadership Plan.
