Jonathan Church


Jonathan Cathedral, CBE (delivered 1967) is a Uk stage director. Cathedral was the artistic movie director from the Birmingham Repertory Theater (2001–2005) and Chichester Celebration Theatre (2006-2016). In August 2015, Sydney Theatre Company announced that he’d be succeeding Andrew Upton as their artistic director.


At Birmingham, he directed the 1st revival from the David Hare Trilogy (Lack of War, Murmuring Judges and Race Demon). Productions he offers fond of Chichester are the Life and Activities of Nicholas Nickleby, the first main revival since its RSC premiere in 1980, as well as the Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui. Church may be the boy of Tony Cathedral, ex - broadcaster with BBC Radio Nottingham and previously key technician in Nottingham Playhouse, as well as the celebrity Marielaine Douglas. He's wedded to Yvonne Thomson plus they have got four daughters.
