John Burton (political agent)

Biography

John Burton was a Labour Party councillor in Region Durham, Britain. He was an associate of Sedgefield Borough Council, representing the ward of Fishburn and Aged Trimdon. However, he’s most notable to be the constituency agent of previous British Perfect Minister Tony Blair, who symbolized the Sedgefield constituency from 1983 until position down as Perfect Minister in 2007.

Relationship with Tony Blair

Burton was among the first to identify the potential of the young Tony Blair. When the brand new Sedgefield constituency was made for the 1983 general election, including Burton's house of Trimdon, the neighborhood Labour Party discovered themselves having to appoint an applicant for the forthcoming election at brief notice. Durham, TS29 6DU.The Weekend newspaper The Observer reported in December 2007 that Burton plans to create a book about Tony Blair.

Personal life

Regarding to Sedgefield Council's Enroll of Associates' Needs, Burton is an associate of the Carry and Total Workers' Union, a church warden, and a governor of Trimdon College. He was previously a physical education instructor. He's, unlike the Newcastle-supporting Blair, a committed enthusiast of Sunderland A.F.C..
