Biography

John Brassil (given birth to 16 Might 1963) can be an Irish Fianna Fáil politician and a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Kerry constituency, upon getting elected in the 2016 general election. He gained the Fianna Fáil nomination in 2015, before past North Kerry TD Tom McEllistrim, who shed his chair in 2011 and Councillor Norma Foley, who was simply unsuccessful in 2007. As Norma Moriarty, Fianna Fáil’s additional applicant in Kerry was located in the south from the constituency, Brassil kept the monopoly inside a typically Fianna Fáil area, North Kerry. John Brassil was appointed by Micheál Martin as the Fianna Fáil junior spokesperson on major treatment and community wellness services. He’s a pharmacist by career. He was an associate of Kerry Region Council from 1999 to 2016.
