Joan Busquets (given birth to 1946) can be an internationally renowned Spanish architect and urban planner. He keeps professorships in the Complex University or college of Catalonia as well as the Harvard Graduate College of Style. His company BAU – B Arquitectura i Urbanisme SL- is situated in Barcelona. He was granted the 2011 Erasmus Reward, an annual award for someone who offers made a fantastic contribution to Western culture, culture or social technology, “in gratitude of his amazing and multifaceted oeuvre in neuro-scientific city preparing.”
Life and career
Joan Busquets was created in 1946 in Un Prat de Llobregat, a suburb of Barcelona. In 1969 he graduated from the institution of Structures, Escola Tecnica Better d'Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB), School of Technology of Catalonia. Busquets was Teacher of Town Setting up in the institution of Architecture on the Polytechnic School of Barcelona from 1979 until 2002. Since 2002 he is a professor on the Harvard Graduate College of Style and retains the seat of Martin Bucksbaum Teacher used of Urban Preparing and Design. Furthermore, he continues to be visiting teacher at several colleges.Joan Busquets headed the look Department from the Municipality of Barcelona between 1983 and 1989 and through the arrangements for the Olympics in 1992.
