Jay Blumler

Biography

Jay Blumler (given birth to 1924) can be an American-born theorist of conversation and media. He’s now Emeritus Teacher of Public Conversation at the College or university of Leeds, and in addition Emeritus Teacher of Journalism on the College or university of Maryland, having spent his early educational life largely in the united kingdom. He was a political research graduate of Antioch University, and a doctoral pupil from 1947 on the London College of Economics. He trained at Ruskin University, Oxford, before going for a placement in Leeds in 1963, as Granada Tv Research Fellow.
