Janet Marie Chvatal (given birth to Sept 26, 1964) can be an American classical soprano and music theatre singer, movie director and author, most widely known for her creation and charity function in Germany and on her behalf creation from the function of Empress Elisabeth of Austria in the world-premiere from the German music Ludwig² (de).

Chvatal was created in Boynton Seaside, Florida, and was raised in Beaverton, Oregon. She went to Boston University or college College of Good Arts on the four-year music scholarship or grant from 1982 to 1986, where she been trained in opera and lieder under Robert Gartside and went to grasp classes with Leonard Bernstein and José vehicle Dam. In 1986 she graduated from Boston University or college summa cum laude. Swedish composer Thomas Haglund (sv) made up the piece Miroirs for Chvatal in 1991, that was premiered by Chvatal on the Helsingborg Swedish Music Festival.From 1994 until 2004 she appeared in america, Canada and throughout European countries in duo with classical guitarist Scott Kritzer, including highlight performances on the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. as well as the Festhalle Frankfurt, Germany. She made an appearance in gala shows with the superstars of Riverdance, the Gipsy Kings and with the Cirque du Soleil.In 2003, Chvatal was a particular guest with Gino Vannelli and his orchestra on the Montreal International Jazz Festival and appeared on his CD Canto that was included on CBC in Canada.In 2005, for the world-premiere from the musical Ludwig, compiled by Rolf Rettburg, and made up by Christopher Franke, Nic Raine and Konstantin Wecker, Chvatal created the primary role from the historical empress of Austria, referred to as Sissi. The musical Ludwig is dependant on the life span of Ludwig II of Bavaria and famous its premiere in the Musiktheater Füssen, straight across from Neuschwanstein Castle. Chvatal re-visited the function in Kempten, Germany, for the 2011 creation.

Productions and charity events

1998 – Chvatal's transition from performer to author and maker began using the establishment of her own music label, Miramont Records, as well as Scott Kritzer and Todd Hutchinson. The musical was made by Chvatal and Gremm and premiered in Tirol, Austria.2014 – Chvatal directed a creation of Stephen Sondheim's In to the Woods in Britain.2016 – Chvatal and Gremm conceived and produced the first musical up to speed a ship with scenes on property. United kingdom film composer Nic Raine had written the music. Chvatal was in charge of the Libretto. Der Schwanenprinz – Lebe deinen Traum (de), a "Musical Adventure Trip" was initially performed in 30 July 2016 up to speed the MS Fuessen, directly before the Castle Neuschwanstein over the Forggensee in Bavaria, Germany.
