Jan Budař

Biography

Jan Budař, alias Pavel Bedura (given birth to 31 July 1977) is a Czech acting professional, movie director, singer, composer and script article writer.

Budař was created in Frýdlant close to Liberec. He graduated in the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts (JAMU) in Brno in 2000. He began his profession in Brno's theatres beneath the tutelage of theater movie director Vladimír Morávek. This innovative partnership resulted in their initial film, Boredom in Brno. Budař also co-authored the script and constructed the music. The humor was awarded five Czech Lions in 2003, including Greatest Male Professional for Jan Budař's functionality. Budař continued to assignments in Marek Najbrt's debut Champions and Jan Hřebejk's Along, the Czech entrance for the Academy Honours, which won many awards on the Czech Lion Honours 2005. Morávek and Budař made their second film, Hrubeš and Mareš close friends: come rainfall or shine.Budař also sings using a music group known as the Eliščin Music group, and makes brief movies, documentaries and movies. In March 2005, Budař gained the Czech Lion prize for "Greatest Supporting Professional" in Champions. In Feb 2005, Budař visited Berlin to represent Czech cinematography on the Berlinale 2005 Film Celebration.

Budař has constructed over 50 music in Czech, British and Spanish. He in addition has constructed music for the movies Boredom in Brno and Hrubeš and Mareš as well as for over 20 theatre shows. With his music group Eliščin Music group, Budař released four albums.
