James Asher can be an British multi-instrumentalist, composer and record maker, focusing on globe music, trance music and new-age music.
Asher begun to research the violin in age seven. As an adolescent, he participated in his college choir and orchestra, which his dad was the principle instructor.Pursuing his traditional musical education, Asher trained himself the drums as well as the keyboard and later apprenticed himself at many recording studios in the united kingdom.
In 1979, Asher opened up his own studio room, Starfield, and released his initial one, "Peppermint Lump", that was made by Pete Townshend.
