Ivy Bannister

Biography

Ivy Bannister (given birth to July 11, 1951) can be an American-born article writer surviving in Ireland. The girl of Richard and Hortense Eberhart, she was created Ivy Eberhart in NEW YORK, was raised in Connecticut and was educated at Smith College and Trinity College in Dublin. In 1976, she wedded Frank Bannister. Her poetry and brief tales have appeared in a variety of anthologies of Irish composing. Her poems also have appeared in magazines like the Irish Occasions, the Weekend Tribune, the Poetry Ireland Review as well as the SHOp. Bannister offers received the: O. Z. Whitehead Honor in 1986 Hennessy Literary Honor in 1988 Listowel Honor in 1987 PJ O’Connor Honor in 1991 Francis MacManus Honor in 1999
