Igbekele Amos Ajibefun (28 July 1964) is a Nigerian teacher of Agricultural economics, previous Rector of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic and incumbent Vice chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin School. He’s the 5th substantive Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin.

Early life

Ajibefun was created in Irele, municipality part of Ondo Condition, southwestern Nigeria. He previously his supplementary education at United Sentence structure College, Ode-Irele in Ondo Condition, where he acquired the western African College Certificate 1983 before he proceeded towards the Federal University or college of Technology Akure where he received a bachelor's level in Farm Administration and Expansion in 1990.He later on attended the University or college of Ibadan where he obtained a master's level in Agricultural economics in 1992 before he returned to his alma mater where he was awarded a doctorate (Ph.D.) level in Agricultural economics.


He joined the providers of Federal College or university of Technology, Akure in 1993 seeing that helper lecturer and was appointed a teacher on Oct 1, 2009.In November 2010, he was appointed Rector of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic. He kept this placement until he was appointed as Vice chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin College or university, to succeed teacher Nahzeem Olufemi Mimiko whose tenure elapsed in January 2015.
