Howard Besser (given birth to c. 1952) is normally a scholar of digital preservation, digital libraries, and preservation of film and video. He’s Professor of Movie theater Studies as well as the founding movie director from the NYU Shifting Picture Archiving and Preservation System (“MIAP”), a graduate system in the Tisch College.
